This is the first Don Smith public demonstration video. July 23, 1994. It is the most important one as it is the foundational context of all the later videos. The later videos are built upon and thus missing information found in this and in the next 1995 video. This provides more historical context about Don Smith. It shows that he had not yet any major deals in the works and that they happened after this video and at least partly as a result of this presentation. As with most inventors they share more information to the public at the beginning because they are trying to show the world what they have. Then after commercial deals happen they are restricted in various ways. I have seen this kind of thing many times myself. This is perhaps why these first two videos have not been available online until now.
There is a lot of very important information shared here that is not anywhere else. Some of that is in subtle or indirect statements and visuals.
This video is also funny at times.

It is of interest to notice the negative reaction of some people near the end of this video after some of the demos had some problems. One person rebuked the complainers and mentioned how Don wasn't supposed to demonstrate until the next day and was trying to do a setup on the fly. I know by experience when I have tried to do something unplanned on the fly in front of many people how easy it is to forget something or do something wrong because your attention is divided. In this case Don and those attempting to figure out why his one setup didn't work made the mistake that the diode had been damaged. I am not sure if they ever figured out their mistake, but I figured it out in that he had attempted to run the setup with a 12V battery when the module was for 24V input. Most of the modules were 12V so that was an easy mistake. This would still work at 12 but it would be significantly out of tune. I have these modules and know how they work. I also have the privately sent hand-drawn papers that Don sent to Alex of that demo where it shows the two 12V batteries in series which matches the picture of the setup that says 24V input. I will make these available in the final Index book.
The point in this is that because this was Don's first appearance with the free energy camp of people this mistake looked to some people as if that setup didn't actually work and that he was just playing with people. That was unfortunate as this is the prevailing view today. But for those who gave attention to details he did reveal a lot of very important information, and the visuals in this video are really important as well.
We can see Don had demonstrated before this meeting as he mentions that this flat coil setup was his demonstration model. He talked about just discovering the battery self-charging part of the system just a month prior, and that the battery remained at the same charge for a month. A year later he says it was for a year, and 2 years later the batteries were still the same.
People were further frustrated with Don for not directly loading the 4 secondary telsa coil setup. Again, he was not supposed to do any demos until the next day and did actually demo it to the extent that he had planned. There are claims that Don never demonstrated anything but the suitcase model, but in this video we see him demonstrating this first setup of his. He runs it to the point of the neon bulbs and explains how each secondary could then power an entire system when you add the final stages. He then showed the inverter system that was used with that setup and compared it with the regular inverters like from Radio Shack. These details were also given in the Don Smith books and I will present them in the final Index. All the values as well as the actual source information is given. Don was trying to teach people about each stage of the process and actually provided all the information at the time, but people were more interested in merely a certain type of demonstration and didn't care about the details. And that is often the problem, people want reality to be something they control, or for such things to work the way they expect and are not open to reality. Until now this information has not been known to the public for 20 years.
