Here is a follow up video to my packing list for the ‘W’ trek in Torres Del Paine National Park. It goes through all the items I used and did not use. I hope it’s informative and helpful for those planning a backpacking trip in the future. Keep in mind that I pack different items dependent on the season and location of a trip. I did not have to pack a stove because there was hot water at every campsite/refugio on the trek for my dehydrated meals.

I had a tent already set up each night which helped to lighten the packing list load, it just cost more money to book. I did not need to carry a tent or stove.

To have options of campsites & types of camping accommodations, it is recommended to book well in advance (6-12 months). I booked less than a month for my trek, limiting my available sleeping arrangements. If you book in advance, you have the option to choose between a dorm bed, a tent that is set up for you, or just a campsite.
