The leather that I used today is pre-dyed Vegtan leather from Montana Leather. The vaqueta leather cuts, tooled, and finishes nice. The vaqueta leather is available in six colors and with all colors available in 3-5 ounce and 8-9 ounce weights. This allows you to get the right weight for your project. You can purchase the leather in full sides or smaller panels to save money by matching your project needs.
