My Brian Rourke custom made bike finally arrived! In this video I unbox my new bike and review the experience of ordering a custom made gravel bike.

So this is my dream bike that I ordered in October 2016 and have been waiting for since then. Me and Helena traveled to Manchester for a weekend last year and I set up a meeting at Rourke cycles to do a fitting in Kelly's Bar. It was a great experience but so many difficult decisions to make in a short time span.

I had a vague Idea of what I wanted my bike to be like before the meeting and thought that would be enough. But I soon realized that there was so many small details I had to make decisions about. What fork did I want? What about wheels? Disc or caliper brakes? Eyelets for mudgards? What shape of handlebars and from what brand?

The final frame is made out of Reynolds 853 steel and is paired with a kinesis carbon fork. The head tube is Reynolds 953 stainless steel and the rear drop outs are from Paragon Mashineworks. The headset i from Chris king. The groupset is SRAM force disc and the wheel set is Mavic Ksyrium pro All-Road with mavic 30mm tires on.
