If you use the RemoteTech mod for Kerbal Space Program, you will find it quite tricky to land anything anywhere outside the Kerbin system. So... how can it be done?

I used Kerbal Smart Parts to automatically trigger actions based on the altitude above ground. The result is a picture perfect rover landing - without lifting a finger.
