On this Christmas Eve ride, we stopped by a place that means a lot to Raleigh’s motorcycle community—the former Barnett’s Suzuki Ducati, now reborn as Art Moto Garage.
While I was away in New York, Barnett’s officially changed hands, with Ross (The Investment Biker) opening a brand-new brick-and-mortar destination that blends motorcycles, art, history, and community. I missed the grand opening, so Speed Goat and I rolled over to see it for ourselves.

What we found wasn’t just a dealership—it was the preservation of a legacy!

Mike Barnett is still there. Legendary Ducati techs are back in the building. Rare bikes, custom builds, and future plans for a café, gathering space, and showroom are already taking shape.
This is one of those rare moments where old-school motorcycle soul meets new energy—and gets it right.
