Repairing a Ripped Seam on an Inflatable SUP

Описание к видео Repairing a Ripped Seam on an Inflatable SUP

I repair a huge 16-20" rip in the seam on my Boardworks Verve inflatable Ppaddleboard. I can't believe it actually worked! Since the repair I've used the board on both flatware and whitewater and it's holding up just fine.

Here is what you will need:

- MKE or Acetone to clean and remove old glue
- Sand paper to rough up the surfaces
- Vaccum
- Isopropyl alcohol to clean surfaces
- HH-66 Vinyl Cement
- Wood piece to clamp with (may require shaping)
- Clamps to keep in together (recommend test fitting it dry)
- Rubber gloves
- Safety goggles

HH-66 should sit for 2-5 minutes before you clamp the sides together. It dries in 3-5 minutes and will reach full strength in 24hrs. Pay extra attention to cleanup and gluing at the edges of the repair.
