In a recent meeting in Bhutan during a SAARC conference, Pakistan's Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir and his Indian counterpart Nirupama Rao concluded their meeting on a note to continue dialogue to resolve issues concerning both countries. But the Chairman of All Parties Huriyat Conference Mirwaiz Umer Farooq (from Indian administered Kashmir) says that the leadership from both sides of Kashmir should be a part of the dialogue process as well. He said that only a dialogue between India and Pakistan or India and Kashmiri leadership would not bear fruits. Mirwaiz Umer Farooq was talking to a seminar at George Masson University organized by Pakistani Students Association. Member of the Norwegian Parliament, Peter S. Gitmark was a guest speaker, he said that Kashmir issue should be solved according to UN's resolutions, and that violation of human rights, war and suffering is not an alternative. He asked for all parties to seriously engage into a dialogue.
