SCAL lesson 1 - the basics (Sure Cuts a Lot)

This is the first Sure Cuts a Lot (SCAL) lesson in the full series.

I am working with SCAL4 Pro (version 4), but many of the things I cover in my lessons will help you with earlier versions as well.

The full class notes are available in my SCAL group at   / scalusers   in PDF format.

NOTE: I checked this for someone and the "crayons" and eyedropper are not available in Windows. This is a Windows limitation. The additional colour screens are not available in Windows either. These elements are standard on Macs in all programs -- I guess this is one of the reasons Macs are known to be the best choice for design work.
