The Pinetree Way Revitalization project will transform the City of Coquitlam’s main street from a car-centric, low density, urban thoroughfare into a high density, mixed use and pedestrian friendly destination. The introduction of three Skytrain stations along the street spurred this $14-million project, involving 1.2km of urban revitalization. The new public transit system is anticipated to encourage denser neighbourhood development and transform the area into a vibrant commercial, residential and cultural hub​.

This video shows some of the proposed landscape and streetscape designs for the City of Coquitlam as part of the Skytrain extension for the Evergreen Line from Burnaby, as well as a flythrough of the project area.
