Ruqyah in Islam is the "recitation of the Quran" seeking the refuge in ALLAH, remembrance and supplications that are used as a means of treating sicknesses and other problems as the Quran is a source of healing.

This can be done to cure evil eye, possessions of Jinn, envy and magic.The secret behind this is that one puts his full trust, reliance and dependance in Allah, the source of all healing and cure.

1. It is recommended to first perform ablution before listening to roqya. it is recommended to perform ablution first before listening to Roqyah.
2. Don't forget to take the INTENTION for healing. This is just a means. Allah Subhana wa ta 3allah is the Healer.
3. listening to roqyah is a side issue. Reciting the Qur'an and making dua yourself is the main thing.
4. Don't forget the morning and evening adhkaar (remembrances) to protect yourself from all the bad.

١ يستحب الوضوء أولاً قبل الاستماع إلى الرقية.
٢ لا تنس أهمية النية في العلاج با الرقيةالشرعية. هذه مجرد وسيلة. الله سبحانه وتعالى هو الشافي.
٣ . الاستماع إلى الرقية أمر جانبي. قراءة القرآن والدعاء بنفسك هو الشيء الرئيسي.
٤ لا تنس أذكار الصباح والمساء لحماية نفسك من كل سوء.

اللهم اشفي كل مريض وعافي كل مبتلى اللهم اجعلنا ممن إذا أعطي شكر، وإذا أذنب استغفر، وإذا ابتلي صبر

O Allah , heal every sick person and cure every afflicted person. O God, make us among those who, when given, are grateful, when sinning, seek forgiveness, and when afflicted, are patient.
