now that we have executed the project the work has begun we need to now start tracking many things on the project okay and that's the part of the monitoring and controlling process group you want to control the project We Don't Let it Loose so that we lose on the money uh on the durations or get impacted on the reputation right so we want to Monitor and control the entire project it's not talking about like a micromanagement but we need to Monitor and we need to check many important things of the project okay let's try to understand how does uh project manager need to manage a project okay let's get started off okay so again let's look into the process group thing so in monitoring controlling you see here the overlap between the initiating till the end of the project so with more overlap and executing and monitoring controlling process group so here we see that although when we do something we have to run off modern controllers for example let's say today morning you uh built a piece of code in the first half of the day and now you are giving it to the QA to test it okay now you are actually validating the code okay so you have that kind of controlling you're doing checking the internet deliverables you're doing the validations from the QA rather than control quality is happening right so it happens on the same name so this overlap of things happening on the same day right so executing is done or build is done now you want to under control and then you want to gather data and see okay how was this this is fine there's a lot of defects coming and then you prepare the work performance uh reports from the information and then take some action on that okay so that's that's about this process uh how the things are what I want to show right so it can happen on the same day both executing and modeling can happen on the same day it doesn't need to be in a very uh waterfall manner it can happen in a giant manner also on the same day okay then the closing process drop right now what are we doing here monitoring controlling we are measuring we are measuring the uh time is remaining the cost of measuring the efforts right we are measuring the the bond rates we are looking into the uh uh Revenue recognition Okay so we're measuring all these things we're measuring against what against the baselines what we had planned initially we are planning we are measuring the work against that okay then we want to analyze the data whatever we are capturing right baby is on the burn down chart or the uh velocity or the number of defects we want to get all this data which is about the gathered data work from in the executing process which happens to be an info workouts information to the uh monitoring Control process group it gathers data information and analyze this and then prepare reports
