திருவண்ணாமலை மலை மீது ஏறுவது இவ்வளவு கஷ்டமா | Trekking to Tiruvannamalai peak மகா தீபம் 2022

திருவண்ணாமலை மாவட்டத்தின் முக்கிய திருவிழாக்களில் ஒன்றாக நடைபெறும் கார்த்திகை தீப திருவிழா, கிட்டத்தட்ட பத்து நாட்களுக்குக் கொண்டாடப்படும்.

டிசம்பர் 6ஆம் தேதி காலை நான்கு மணியளவில் அண்ணாமலையார் சன்னிதியில் பரணி தீபமும் மாலை ஆறு மணியளவில் 2,668 அடி உயரமுள்ள மலை உச்சியில் மகா தீபமும் ஏற்றப்படும்.

5 அடி உயரமும் 250 கிலோ எடையும் கொண்ட கொப்பரையில் 3,500 லிட்டர் நெய் ஊற்றப்பட்டு, ஆயிரம் மீட்டர் காடா துணியால் ஆன திரியின் மூலம் இந்த மகாதீபம் ஏற்றப்படும்.

இந்த மகாதீபம் தொடர்ந்து பதினோரு நாட்கள் எரியும்.

The tenth day – Tuesday – (6.12.2022) – Karthigai Deepam festival starts at around four o clock in the early hours and the Bharani Deepam (Barani Deepam Festival) is lit at the temple. Than in the evening the Mahadeepam is lit on the top of the hill at around six o clock – Lord Panchamoorthigal Darshan,Lord Arthanareeswarar Alangaram Darshan and Maha Deepam ( Maha Jothi Darshan) is a very important ceremony during the Karthigai Deepam festival at Tiruvannamalai. Arunachaleswarar is said to be visually represented in the form of agni on the hill top. There is a very mammoth gathering on this day at the Arunachaleswarar temple to witness this glorious and sacred event. This is another spectacular event at Arunachaleswar temple at Tiruvannamalai.
