I tried Macanese Food with Rocklee - Home cooked Minchi, Tacho, and Ox Tongue

I knew when I asked Rocklee to take me to eat some authentic Macanese food that I was in for a treat but I only had in mind that I would be eating Minchi, to my surprise and delight he also ordered Tacho, and a Plate of Ox Tongue which were amazing. These are staples in almost any Macanese household and at this restaurant it felt like a home cooked meal. I do hope you get a chance to try these amazing foods when you visit macau.

Minchi - is a Macanese dish based on minced or ground meat. It is made with beef or pork and flavoured with molasses and soy sauce. Served with a fried egg on top it

Tacho- considered to be a Macanese variant of Cozido à portuguesa that is found in Portuguese cuisine.

Ox Tongue - Well is Ox Tongue :) but in this case it was topped with a nice thick gravy that gave it a special taste.
