Transformational Chairwork: Using Psychotherapeutic Dialogues with Addictions, Trauma, & Self Hatred

Описание к видео Transformational Chairwork: Using Psychotherapeutic Dialogues with Addictions, Trauma, & Self Hatred

Transformational Chairwork is centered on the belief that there is a healing and transformative power in: (1) Giving voice to one’s inner parts, modes, and selves; and (2) Enacting or re-enacting scenes from the past, the present, or the future.

In this webinar, we explore the following issues:
Understanding the Four Dialogues and how they can serve as the building blocks for a Chairwork-centered practice;
Increasing motivation in addiction- and harm reduction psychotherapy;
Engaging the Inner Critic and challenging self-hatred; and
Overcoming trauma and interpersonal mistreatment

Presenter Scott Kellogg, PhD, is a clinical psychologist and an addiction Ppsychologist in private practice in New York City. Dr. Kellogg is the Past-President of the Division on Addictions of the New York State Psychological Association (20015, 2011, 2005, 2001), and he was a co-director of the Harm Reduction and Mental Health Project at New York University.
