Modern day 'Tilak's' murder journalistic principles at the altar of sponsorship

Media-corrupt Politician nexus in Goa.

First August, 2018 can be termed as the black day for media in Goa.
A section of journalist decided that their organisations do not pay them enough wages and hence it's better to sell their souls to the devil's.
And that they did.
Goa and South Goa in particular have seen some enter the journalist fraternity for name and fame associated with it.
Not even a very low percentage of media employees can cross the needles eye of sensible journalism.
That there exists a nexus between journalists and some very tainted politicians in South Goa was evident when at least one dubious fanatic character, a former unscrupulous Brother-in-law of an equally notorious Minister was photographed by me along with another (now deceased ) political fixer who worked for an equally devastating mining firm who are playing ball with Goans health and life at Sonsoddo and a long term Margao MLA who form a close knit (same clan-religion) group.
Today's sad act of a cocktail between some very consistently corrupt politicos with some journalists only enforces my views and that shared by thousands of Goans in Goa and abroad, that the Goan media houses and it's associates are all ready to 'wheel and deal' for a good bargain.
Hence, in Goa there is no law and order, elections are openly rigged and till date no corruption indicted politico has ever been sentenced or jailed but for the likes of a few Catholic politicians
Something is seriously going wrong and Goans need to wake up and stand up against this rotten nexus.
Today, being a day dedicated to journalists and the press...the need of the hour is to have a fresh, brand new platform for Goa that will stand up for all things GOAN and with integrity.
It's time to walk-the-talk down South.
