Jack T. Franklin photographed every aspect of Black life from the 1960s until his death in 2009. His photos appeared in The Philadelphia Tribune, Ebony, Jet and local publications. A fraction of his almost half million photo negatives, which are stored at the African American Museum of Philadelphia, are digitized.
