This Sunday, I’m inviting you to join me for a message that weighs heavy on my heart. We will be wrestling with God’s promise to Israel and Christ’s command to forgive—even in a time of war.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu quoted Deuteronomy 25:17–19, saying, “You must remember what Amalek has done to you… And we do remember.” It’s a powerful Scripture, but it also forces us to ask:

If justice kills the innocent, is it still justice?

As followers of Christ, our conscience must wrestle with these hard questions. What does forgiveness look like when the world is full of violence? How do we respond when the suffering of innocents begins to overshadow our sense of justification?
