She had walked away, not with anger, but with a silent sorrow that haunted him more than any words could. Now, years later, he found himself on her doorstep, eyes brimming with regret, the scar of their past etched in his heart. He knelt before her, pleading for forgiveness. She looked at him with tear-filled eyes—not from anger, but from the pain of memories neither of them could erase. The scar would always remain, but maybe, just maybe, they could learn to live with it.
