Prepping for a stay at the beach and rather than cart my entire Foot controller rig with me - I did a run through managing the Kat Air Ex & Kat Go Rig purely by OnSong and K-Air MIDI & BTS for Kat Go

The big board is groovy and all but with MIDI you can easily get away with On Screen controls given just a few apps.

The typical usage case here is to do guitar sessions and be able to record and all that outside or chilling on the couch or front porch.

The video idea is a normal noodling session switching the two katana through presets without any audible gaps - most modellers like the HXStomp or something will have gaps as you reload the DSP, you can use snapshots yes but you cannot just jump through presets anytime you want.

The BOSS air rigs will allow you to do this, and a bit of fiddling with MIDI apps makes it so much easier to jump around and try out sounds without really breaking your flow.
