My name is Xanthe Wyse.

I fell off my bike yesterday and have various minor injuries including a bruised knee, muscle strains and a sprain. So mainly resting up.

It's my second knee injury this year.

Feeling a bit discouraged with regards to not being able to do my fitness (mostly walks and bike rides for a bit). I do moderate exercise mainly for my mental health (primary diagnoses are bipolar disorder and posttraumatic stress disorder, PTSD).

Also very tired. So just rest and gentle stretches for me, currently.

Like most of my videos, nothing planned. Just said what came out.

I do have a high pain threshold, so that's why it's important for me to get injuries checked by a physio, in case it's more serious than I thought (as ACC will cover some of the cost).

I've been bike riding a few times a week, after a physio suggest to go bike riding to help recover from another knee injury. It helped and I recovered from that injury but then I unfortunately ended up hurting my knee in a different place when I landed on it.

Mentioned some of the frustration with my meds (a lot of weight gain as a side effect). It's actually a big reason why people stop their meds for bipolar disorder.
