Author Douglas Murray says antisemitism has been a “shapeshifting virus” throughout all of history.

Mr Murray claimed victory with 66 per cent of the audience vote in a recent Munk Debate in which he argued that anti-Zionism is antisemitism.

“Sometimes people hated the Jews for their race, sometimes they hated them for their religion,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“In this era, the only permissible way to hate the Jews is to hate them for having a state.”
