Here's a quick look at something not many people know of anymore mainly due to the interaction only being doable with sunset gear, still however it is currently pretty viable and quite useful in high level activates such as boss encounters in raids and even when running low level content for fun.
Now technically this IS an intended mechanic or interaction as Bungie hasn't removed these perks from the old gear or at the very least stopped them from functioning but given they don't talk about it and not many people even remember it's a thing I'm going to consider it as something that isn't necessarily intended anymore and basically is just a nice little way to hold and use more ammo than usual/intended.

Well yeah that's mainly it for this one haha not much else to say on the matter... again though let me know if new players can actually do this in some way, as far as I'm aware this is 100% not possible unless you're a veteran or returning player with old gear just lying around but I'm honestly not sure. Regardless it is a helpful mechanic for a large chunk of the game and I'm hoping after seeing this it helps you as well!
