This video shows how to use variable frame rates and how to get the best quality slow motion in Adobe Premiere using the various options including frame sampling, frame blending and optical flow.
We look at using a the GH5 with recording quality set to 4K 8 bit 50p and using this on a 25p timeline. This means that when you reduce the speed on the timeline no actual frames are lost. If you reduce the percentage down to 25%, using optical flow, you can obtain great results on Premiere. We also used the variable frame rate feature on the Panasonic GH5 with a recording quality of 4K 8 bit 25p at 60fps to see good results.
