Here we’re in Whanganui to hear from Ngā Taikura o Te Awa Tupua who have come together to acknowledge the waiata (songs) and stories of their awa (river) and tūpuna (ancestors).

Te Papa is proud to present a celebration of our kaumātua (elders) from throughout the motu (country) with the first release of the Taikura Kapa Haka 2021 series.
