How to Install an IKEA Kitchen | Idiot’s Guide | DIY Sprinter Van Conversion UK

The initial idea was to use IKEA’s METODs to structure the kitchen. At around £25 each, it’s a real cost effective and simple way to lay out your kitchen and then build on top of them.

Like most people who walk through the doors of IKEA, I immediately saw a kitchen the exact same colour as I was planning to paint mine and couldn’t stop putting things in my basket. Before I knew it, I’d bought my entire kitchen there.

Despite the price tag, I’m extremely happy how it turned out. After having to adjust the size of some of the cabinets to fit the space in the van, it was just a case of fitting the worktop, drawers and kick board.
