There are a lot of hiking trails around Burnaby mountains. Most of them are moderate to easy. For this hike, I started my hike from this point: https://goo.gl/maps/cbhF7i1EmiDi7EKY8

The hike goes through burnaby mountain conservation area to the SFU campus. I would term this hike as an urban trail and this is not a proper hike rather this is a mere walk. There were not many viewpoints or lookouts on the trail. Once you reach to the top, you get a nice view of the city. Throughout the hike, we followed trans Canada trail and came down on the hastings side.
