My second tribute to the Pathfinder battle couple, Scott and Cora, set to Superheroes by The Script. Featuring the Hyperion, Paarchero and Leusinia. Rated T for pillow talk.

Cora has had everything she depended on taken away from her: her parents, her commando unit, Alec Ryder, and her dream of being the human Pathfinder. Sarissa's fall from grace completed her disillusionment.

This Scott has been the underachiever of his family; a glorified gate attendant at the Arcturus Relay, discharged because of his brilliant father's transgressions. He never wanted or expected to be Pathfinder, he just craved a fresh start out of Alec's oppressive eye.

Cora gives Scott the one thing he's never had: unwavering support. As his second, she backs him even when he's screwing up and mouthing off to everyone in sight. Scott gives Cora a belief in her own abilities. He makes her realize she doesn't need to follow someone else's plan; they can make it up together as they go. Also, screwing up and mouthing off is fun!

For those who found Ryder boring, I highly suggest trying the Left (Emotional/Casual) responses with all of the non-Tempest NPCs and Right (Logical/Professional) responses with the crew/squad. Tom Taylorson is amazing.
