This video was taken from Grandstand 6b (Alta Velocita B) during Formula 1 free practice 2 (FP2) on Friday September 5, 2014. There are three grandstands on the inside of the circuit at Prima Variante (6a, 6b, 6c) - this one is in the middle, both in terms of location and pricing. Located in the braking zone for the first chicane, you see the cars approaching the corner, then a distant view of the cars taking the corner and getting on the power at the exit. There is a fairly good view of the large TV screen opposite, but it's quite distant and better set up for Grandstand 6c. Three-day tickets for Alta Velocita B cost a maximum of 380 EUR in 2014 (less with early-bird discounts). If you can't afford 6c, this is still a good and popular option at Monza and you will see lots of action at the first corner. One other thing to note - this grandstand is set quite high off the ground and behind a section of the old banked Monza circuit, very cool! As with most grandstands at Monza, seats are metal bleachers (so bring a cushion, your rear end will thank you after three days).
