This video breaks down the differences between the Point Card and the Discover Cashback Debit Card! We look at a bunch of categories and compare the two cards so you don't have to.

In this video, we compare the point card and discover cashback debit card in 7 categories.

1. Fees
Discover has no fees at all. Point has an annual $99 fee.

2. Cashback
Both Point and Discover have 1% cashback on all purchases. The only difference is Discover limits you to cashback on $3000 of purchases each month.

3. Customer Service
Both have great customer service in my experience! The only difference is that Point's operates during business hours and Discover has 24/7 customer service.

4. Other Rewards and Benefits
Point has extra rewards and benefits through extra cashback on specific purchases as well as streaks which gets you cashback for number of purchases during a given period.

5. ATMs
Discover has 60k+ ATMs available for you to use for free nationwide. Point gives you $8 for ATM fees per month on two withdrawals.

6. Paying Others
Point doesn't have any ways to pay others or get paid. Discover, however, has the ability to mobile deposit checks and provides free checks to you to give to others. It can also be hooked up with Zelle for easy payment.

7. Insurance
Discover has no insurance connected to their card. But Point's card is through Mastercard which provides phone insurance, new purchase insurance, trip cancelation insurance, and car rental insurance.

Overall, both cards are excellent and I'd recommend both. I personally use the Point card on a daily!
