Courmayeur Italy-Ski Resort Overview and ski trails videos- Visit this place if you visit Chamonix!

Courmayeur is a famous alpine resort on the northwest edge of Italy, bordering France and Switzerland in the Italian Alps. It takes only 1 hour to get to Courmayeur from Chamonix and many skiers combine their visit to Chamonix with spending some time at Courmayeur.

At an elevation of 1,224 m (4,016 ft), Courmayeur has the typical alpine climate. Winter is cold and generally snowy, perfect for a day of skiing, while the summer season is usually short and pleasantly cool with all-around amazing views and plenty of outdoor activities to do!

Courmayeur is cited as "Italy's best all-round ski resort", and contains the Alpine Botanical Garden Saussurea, which describes itself as Europe's highest botanical garden. In the summer months Courmayeur is a popular destination for hikers.

We visited Courmayeur in Summer of 2023, as part of our trip to Chamonix, decided to share our thoughts in this video, which provides a quick overview of the Courmayeur and also, includes several popular ski trails, including blue, red and black ones.
