Sonic Mania Plus: Encore Mode Part 4: Flying Battery Zone (Team Super)

The first classy thing I see with Flying Battery in Encore mode is how it puts some new objects and obstacles at the start of Act 1 just to setup you up into getting a new Special Stage ring at the top of the upper wall. Look at how Ray hangs down with his tail!

Act 2 also has a new big Ring spot along the path of a tight, but quiet room at around 8:35, nearly seconds before you can find its original spot outdoors. This one actually spooked me!

Also, as a part of the "Plus" patch, Flying Battery finally gets a proper zone transition into Press Garden, where your characters sail to the place using the exact some hang gliders from the 8-Bit version of Sonic 2. To emphasize this further, I added a little tune to the video to reference this with the transition. You can also see this transition in the thumbnail!
