Tata Motors has launched the much-anticipated Tata Curvv, a coupe-SUV, at an attractive price of ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Curvv features black cladding along the exterior, 18-inch wheels with a unique design, and air vents on the grille—setting it apart from its EV sibling. The standout feature is the all-new 1.2-litre Hyperion GDI engine, which produces 123bhp and 225Nm of torque (250Nm with overboost). This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCA gearbox. The Tata Curvv also offers a 1.2-litre Revotron engine delivering 118bhp and 170Nm, and a turbo-diesel engine with 116bhp and 260Nm of torque.

Inside, the Curvv sports a dual-tone theme, featuring a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment system, reminiscent of the Tata Nexon.

In this first drive review, Aatish Mishra drives the Tata Curvv with the new 1.2-litre Hyperion GDI engine, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, to evaluate its ride, handling, and whether the new turbo-petrol engine lives up to the thrill of driving.
