Eritrean Nationals in UK commemorate Martyrs Day!
The Eritrean communities in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, Bristol, Southampton, Glasgow, Middlesbrough, Wakefield, Cardiff and Coventry have commemorated as part of the ongoing UK Martyrs Day program on 20 June with candle vigil. In London Vauxhall Park, over 3000 Eritreans came together to participate in the Martyrs Day organised by Sponsor Martyr’s Family Committee (SMFC) - Present at the London commemoration were H.E. Estifanos Habtemariam, Eritrea’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland, Embassy staff, Religious leaders and friends of Eritrea.
