I had never flown Torrey before. It was a light wind day but was soarable. I had never top landed before either since there aren't many top landing sites in our rocky and mountainous Arizona region. Torrey was fun for an hour's flight, but I will look forward to coming back in stronger conditions for beach and wave swooping and to fly further down the coast. Thanks to local HG pilots Glenn, Wayne and Doug for their tips and advice on my first flight there!
