In this How To Say Those Welsh Place Names video, we take a look at some of the most Mispronounced Place Names in North Wales and give you a step by step guide on how to pronounced them.

If you're not from Wales, or if you don't have a grasp of the Welsh language, you may not realise that the Welsh alphabet is slightly different to the English alphabet and has some additional letters in there, letters that are made up from 2 letters...sounds crazy, but bear with us.

In this video, we take a fun look at some Welsh place names, such as, Llandudno, Beddgelert, Betws y Coed, Harlech, llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch and more, and explain how you say and pronounce them.

Di you know that 'CH' was a letter in the Welsh alphabet? Did you know that, 'DD' and 'LL' were also letters in their own right? No? Well that is maybe why you might have had some difficulty pronouncing some of those Welsh place names, as those letters have their own unique sound.
