Time for Music - Musicplay PreK - Preschool Music Lesson

Time for Music is from Musicplay PreK Part 1 (Fall).
This is the opening song, Time for Music, that starts every lesson.
In this lesson, instead of patting the 8 beats between the verses, we are tapping the 8 beats on a beat strip. The graphics for the beat strips are included as a PDF printable in the Digital Resources.

This set of 12 lessons for teaching music to preschool or PreK includes 52 songs, poems, fingerplays, instrument activities, stories, listening selections and much more for teaching music to children aged 3-5.
The Teacher’s Guide/CD is available as a book/CD and as a download. The teacher’s guide includes the lesson outlines, song suggestions, and many teaching suggestions. ($30)

The Digital Resources will be available very soon. The Digital Resource includes song movies of every song, PDF files for all the manipulatives used, and 40+ in-class demos such as this one with Denise teaching a Preschool class. The Digital Resources will be a valuable resource even if you can’t project the songs for the children - the in-class demos are very helpful for teachers wanting more help in teaching this age group.
