In this video, Saket Sir explains the key changes in the UPSC CSE 2026 application, including the new permanent URN system and Common Application Form (CAF) which gets locked once submitted. He highlights a major update in the photo requirement unlike last year, name and date are NOT required below the photograph due to the introduction of live photo capture and face authentication. Candidates must upload a passport-size photo, capture a live photo, and submit identical signatures three times in one image.

He strongly stresses that Class 10 (Matriculation) certificate is the final authority for name and date of birth, not Aadhaar or Passport. Filling details as per Aadhaar instead of Class 10 is a serious mistake that can cancel candidature later.
