This year is unprecedented and I think that calls for an unprecedented Thanksgiving meal. Unprecedented in that you don’t have to cook a thing. I’ve found my top 10 best Thanksgiving delivery options in New York City so you can sit back and relax this year. You earned it. Plus, who’s around to eat all that food anyway.

My not so secret sous vide turkey recipe.

Ingredients
1 Turkey, whole fresh
Black peppercorns, optional, for stock, as needed
Herbs, fresh, such as thyme and sage, as needed

1 Onion, optional, for stock
Olive oil, as needed
Salt, a few tbsp, as needed
Sugar, a few tbsp, as needed
Butter, 1 to 2 tbsp, as needed

Directions
-Brine your turkey in whatever spices you choose over night
-Bag up your white meat and dark meat separately in ziplock or vacuum bags.
-Set sousvide to 150 degrees
-Place your legs in 16 hours before you want to eat.
-9 hours in lower the water temperature to 131degrees and put your white meat in with the dark
-When 16 hours is up, pull the turkey parts from the bag and pat dry
-Fry in oil skin side down for 5 minutes
-Slice and serve
