Delusions ya Hallucinations kai prakaar ki mansik bimariyo me ho sakte hai, jaise Schizophrenia, Psychosis, Bipolar disorder (Mania -Depression).
Delusion ek soch ki bimaari hai. Ye ek prakar ka bhram ya soch hai jiske kitne bhi tark diye jaaye, kitne bhi logic diye jaaye patient ko vo bhram, sach he lagta hai. Kitni bhi samjhaane ki koshich ki jaaye patient apni soch par tika rehta hai. Delusions kai tarah ke hote hain. Sabse common Delusion hai- Delusion of persecution, jisme vyakti ko ye lagta hai ki koi unhe nuksaan pahunchaana chahta hai ya koi unka peecha kar raha hai.
Delusion of reference me vyakti ko aisa lagta hai jaise koi unhe camere se dekh raha ho, koi unki baato ko record kar raha ho ya ya log unke he baare me baat kar rahe hai.
Delusion of love me patients ko lagta hai koi doosra insaan unse pyaar karta hai, par ye baat sach nahi hoti, ye unka bhram hota hai.

Hallucinations me patients ko kuch aisa sunaai ya dikhayi deta hai jo baaki logo ke anusaar nahi hota. Sabse common hallucinations hain - Auditory hallucinations, jisme patients ko kuch awaazein sunaai deti hai jo sath me baithe logo ko nahi sunaai de rahi ho. Ye awaazein kisi ki bhi ho sakti hai jaise koi unhe kuch bol raha ho, koi baar se awaaz aa rahi ho, koi 2-3 log aapas me baat kar rahe ho ya kisi aise insaan ki awaaz aati ho jo zinda bhi na ho.
Visual hallucinations me vyakti ko kuch dikhaai deta hai jo asal me hota nahi hai.
