In this video... Come along with me as I show you my entire Persephone Books collection. I will go over them in more detail in later videos but here’s a general overview for the time being.

Persephone Books is an independent publisher/bookshop that is based in London’s fashionable and literary, Bloomsbury. The company was founded in 1999 by Nicola Beauman. They publish forgotten works by mostly female writers. Each book comes in a tasteful dove grey cover and has fabric print inspired endpapers which coincide with designs that were in use when each book was originally published. Each book also comes complete with a bookmark in the same pattern as the endpaper design.

There are also Persephone Classics which have illustrated front covers and muted a grey version of the endpapers.

At the time this video was published Persephone Books currently have 137 titles on sale. The books range from Fiction to Cooking, Biography to Poetry.
