Learn how to earn money Scanning Receipts with CoinOut. You can receive cashback from from 0.4% to 11% depend on Merchant. You can redeem coins for Paypal or Bank Payments payments. To redeem coin you must enter your address and verify email address. You get around 7 cents per receipt scanned.Before you can scan receipts, give permission for this app to access the camera. Make sure when scanning receipt have the store name, total purchase, and receipt dates clearly visible on the picture frame of the camera. Type of stores supported are supermarkets, convenience stores, supercenters, club stores, liquor stores, dollar stores, pet supply stores, toy stores, drug stores, beauty stores, health stores, mom-and-pop/bodegas stores. Remember to scan receipts as you create them. Receipts dates must be within 14 days from Scanning date or it will be invalid and not count for rewards. Your picture of receipt must include store name, purchased items, purchase date, and transaction total.
How do I earn money?
To begin, download the app available on iOS and Android. You can earn online or in-store! For in-store, take your receipt from a recent purchase and place it flat on an even surface. Make sure to take a clear picture of your receipt - it should show the name of the store, date of purchase and all items purchased. The better quality receipt and picture, the more you'll earn!
How do I earn online?
Shop online? CoinOut is the easiest way to earn free money back! Press one of the merchant buttons on the homepage or "all stores" button to see our full list of merchants. Click on the merchant you are going to buy from, and it will automatically direct you to the app or mobile website of the store. You need to click the merchant button on CoinOut once before a purchase to receive cash back.
How long does it take to have the cash back approved?
Many merchants can take up to 90 days, although often times it is earlier.
How do I earn MORE?
There are a few easy things to get yourself set up to earn more! First, get your referral link from the app in the "share and earn" section. Referral amounts change! You'll earn for every verified referral. Second, badges on the homescreen of the app! The badges can show you anything from increasing your receipt limit, trivia, partner offers and more. Third, make sure to check out the In-Store offers in the app to earn bonuses for buying the brands you love! Is there a minimum for cashing out? There is a $20.00 minimum for PayPal.
What receipts receive cash back?
If a receipt is uploaded more than once, the CoinOut may block your account.
1) Date of Transaction (must be within 2 weeks from upload date and shown on the receipt)
2) Store Name
3) Total Bill Amount
4) Receipt line items with prices
5) The receipt cannot have been uploaded by your account previously or another account.
If the receipt is not readable, the cash back will not be processed. If the receipt is too long, try folding the receipt to get most of the information in (date, store name and total bill amount).
How are the amounts determined? CoinOut set a range each day of a minimum and maximum amount you can earn from a receipt. The amount you receive is randomized and is not based on the type of receipt or amount spent.
What about e-receipts?
CoinOut now accept e-receipts! Forward your e-receipts to [email protected]. To receive cash back, the receipts need to be forwarded the same day of the purchase. CoinOut are currently accepting up to 8 per day. Make sure to register your email through the survey link you receive via email after sending an e-receipt.
How long does it take to get my money for bank cash outs?
Once you cash out, we will review it within 10 business days. Once processed it takes 2-3 business days depending on your bank.
