The #Jatcommunity organized an International Parliament at #VigyanBhawan, New Delhi, which was attended by large number of dignitaries of the community to discuss the issues being confronted by Jats across the world.
The conference was presided over by the Governor of #Goa, #SatyaPalMalik besides ministers of the Modi Government which include #SanjeevBaliyan, #Kailash Choudhary, Ch. Birender Singh and many prominent faces of the community.
A team from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir led by its president All J&K Jat Sabha, S. Manjit Singh, Sham Choudhary (former Minister J&K) and Ch. Vikram Randhawa (former Member Legislative Council J&K) also participated in the Jat Parliament.
While addressing the Jat Parliament S. Manjit Singh said that the Jat community in Jammu and Kashmir deserves due focus as they are socially and politically backward. He said that the Jat community in J&K was displaced during partition i.e., in 1947 and during Indo-Pak wars in 1965 and 1971. He said that majority of community is living along India-Pakistan border and are dependent on farming for survival. “Other than farming, serving in Indian Army is their passion which does not make them financially viable and hence a lot is needed to be done for them”, he added.
Ch. Vikram Randhawa former MLC and senior BJP leader while speaking on the occasion said that all the Jats cutting across party lines should stand together for the upliftment of the community both socially and economically. He said that “We are Jats first then anything else and we should stand united to fight the cause of the community”. He also invited the community members to come and invest in Jammu and Kashmir as Article 370 now stands abrogated and anyone can buy land or invest in J&K without any hindrance.

नई दिल्ली के #VigyanBhawan में एक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संसद का आयोजन किया, जिसमें दुनिया भर के जाटों द्वारा सामना किए जाने वाले मुद्दों पर चर्चा करने के लिए समुदाय के गणमान्य लोगों ने बड़ी संख्या में भाग लिया। इस सम्मेलन की अध्यक्षता #Goa, #SatyaPalMalik के गवर्नर मोदी सरकार के मंत्रियों के अलावा कर रहे थे जिसमें SanjeevBaliyan, कैलाश चौधरी, चौ। बीरेंद्र सिंह और समुदाय के कई प्रमुख चेहरे। जम्मू और कश्मीर के केंद्रशासित प्रदेश की एक टीम ने अपने अध्यक्ष ऑल जेएंडके जाट सभा, एस। मंजीत सिंह, शाम चौधरी (पूर्व मंत्री जम्मू-कश्मीर) और चौ। विक्रम रंधावा (पूर्व सदस्य विधान परिषद जम्मू-कश्मीर) ने भी जाट संसद में भाग लिया। जाट संसद को संबोधित करते हुए एस। मंजीत सिंह ने कहा कि जम्मू-कश्मीर में जाट समुदाय उचित ध्यान का हकदार है क्योंकि वे सामाजिक और राजनीतिक रूप से पिछड़े हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि जम्मू और कश्मीर में जाट समुदाय 1947 में और 1965 और 1971 में भारत-पाक युद्धों के दौरान विभाजन के दौरान विस्थापित हो गया। उन्होंने कहा कि अधिकांश समुदाय भारत-पाकिस्तान सीमा पर रह रहे हैं और अस्तित्व के लिए खेती पर निर्भर हैं। उन्होंने कहा, "खेती के अलावा, भारतीय सेना में सेवा करना उनका जुनून है, जो उन्हें आर्थिक रूप से व्यवहार्य नहीं बनाता है और इसलिए उनके लिए बहुत कुछ करने की जरूरत है।" अ। विक्रम रंधावा पूर्व एमएलसी और भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता ने इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए कहा कि सभी जाटों को पार्टी लाइनों में काटकर सामाजिक और आर्थिक रूप से समुदाय के उत्थान के लिए एक साथ खड़ा होना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि "हम पहले जाट हैं फिर कुछ भी और हमें समुदाय के कारण से लड़ने के लिए एकजुट होना चाहिए"। उन्होंने जम्मू और कश्मीर में निवेश करने के लिए समुदाय के सदस्यों को भी आमंत्रित किया क्योंकि अनुच्छेद 370 अब निरस्त हो गया है और कोई भी जम्मू-कश्मीर में जमीन खरीद सकता है या बिना किसी बाधा के निवेश कर सकता है।
