A Simple Way To Catch A Limit Fast (Catching Florida Pompano At The Beach With Lures)

Craziest Pompano bite EVER! In this video I'm surf fishing along a public beach in SW Florida. I'm using a jig and teaser rig that is commonly used for catching Pompano. I'm also fishing the best tide for this species, a slow and steady incoming tide. The water is extra clear and the wind is low. This was literally the best day to shore fish the surf for this species.

I have a theory as to why the bite was so incredible. I think it's because for the week prior the wind had been blowing relentlessly, like 20 to 30 MPH. This caused all of the Gulf Of Mexico water along the SW Fl coastline and inner coastal areas to be very murky. Due to the poor water conditions it made it hard for Pompano to feed. The day I recorded this video was the first day in a week that the water had been clear. So, I think the Pompano didn't feed for a week until the water was clear and they were extra hungry for my jig and teaser rig.
