Synopsis :
Set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, "Upkaar" celebrates village life and the contributions of farmers and soldiers to India. The story follows Bharat, a patriotic farmer who sacrifices everything to educate his brother Puran. However, Puran becomes greedy and gets involved in drug trafficking, ultimately betraying his brother. The film is known for its patriotic songs, especially the iconic "Mere Desh Ki Dharti."
