From the full and complete soundtrack OST to EcoQuest 1: The Search for Cetus

This cue plays when descending or ascending underwater into the ocean, which happens at three distinct areas:
#1 - When Adam and Delphineus first dive underwater from before the island to the Seaweed and Kelp Maze.
#2 - Ascending or descending to the fisherman's boat to help Gregarious the Manatee.
#3 - Ascending or descending to the injured Cetus the Whale.

The cue's filename, "Descend2", leads one to conclude that a "Descend" or "Descend1" cue went unused in the final version of the game and is currently lost.

This soundtrack has been made in conjunction with Chris Braymen and Mark Seibert. The music, having originally been composed using the Roland MT-32, has been recorded directly from an authentic MT-32 from the extracted game files. Due to the hardware limitations of the MT-32 causing polyphony problems, if necessary, each channel has been recorded independently and then merged into a single track. Therefore, no notation data is lost through polyphony limitations and the tracks may be heard at their fullest. Track titles are based on the original filenames.
