I was surprised at just how tough it was. The first time I played Charlie Don't Surf on veteran, (at 01:56 on the first part of my video) I stepped out and went to fire and died almost immediately (the enemy reaction time and accuracy is incredible) Notice how in my video, I wasn't taking any chances and threw a flash bang at that point. My first impressions were that it was an extreme difficulty level. You have to raise your game, and adjust your style of play accordingly, and definitely play a more cautious game. At the same time though, you don't want to be walking through each part like you're terrified, being over cautious - otherwise you'll never get anywhere. There's a balance. You have to be aggressive at times (good timing and accuracy are important, as well as being sharp and alert, "stay frosty", and you have to take them out quickly), other times you have to have a more cautious approach. It depends on the situation of course. You should use the zoom feature on the m4 and other such weapons as much as you can. (keep in my where other enemies are though) It'll allow you to take the enemy out more quickly and accurately. Practice strafing out while zoomed in, around corners so you can shoot them first. As soon as you take a serious hit (the screen will become very red and your heart beating fast and struggling to breathe) get back quickly behind cover. You have to react quickly. If you cant find anything as cover and you're taking fire, then try to go prone, to make yourself a more difficult target to hit.
