Miami Dolphins Roster Comparison | How Much Have The Dolphins Improved On Offense?

We’re in full NFL offseason mode as we wait for training camp to arrive, so today we took a dive into the 2024 Miami Dolphins roster in comparison to last year’s to find out whether or not the team actually improved this offseason!

While the Miami Dolphins quarterback room currently remains the same as it was last year, with Tua Tagovailoa leading the way as the league’s leading passer, the remaining positions all feature new faces following free agency and the 2024 NFL Draft.

Failing to re-sign Robert Hunt is likely going to present challenges for the Dolphins offensive line this upcoming season, but can Liam Eichenberg or Jack Driscoll exceed expectations at right guard at a fraction of the cost?

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel also received a couple new toys on offense when the team signed Odell Beckham to pair with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle; while also adding more speed to the backfield with the selection of rookie running back Jaylen Wright.

The addition of Jonnu Smith provides the Dolphins a tight end that can produce after the catch better than anyone the team has had at the position under Mike McDaniel. Smith and Jody Fortson will make defensive coordinators respect the Dolphins tight ends as pass catchers.
