EPIGASTRIC HERNIA

Surgeon explains the anatomy, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of Epigastric Hernia. This particular hernia occurs between the lower breast bone and the belly button. Less commonly it can be multiple. It may not have any symptoms or rarely it may cause pain disproportionate to its size due to the entrapment of abdominal lining (extra peritoneal) fat.
