Recalled youngster Luke Jephcott certainly made the decision to bring him back worthwhile in the 3-1 victory at Scunthorpe United in Sky Bet League Two, scoring a predatory brace for the Pilgrims.

Having been out on loan to Truro for the majority of this season, Luke has been playing under former Argyle stalwart Paul Wotton in order to get himself some experience and regular game-time.

Argyle manager Ryan Lowe took the option to recall the 19-year-old following injuries to strikers Dom Telford and Ryan Taylor, and having been thrust into the starting line-up, Jephcott responded with his first goals in the Football League.
